What is counselling?

 

We all experience challenges and difficulties in our lives which can lead to feelings of isolation, anxiety, depression, a lack of clarity and a need for a fresh perspective.  Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for exploring and helping to make sense of our thoughts, feelings and circumstances.  

 
Safe​​

Counselling offers a safe, confidential place to talk with a trained therapist.  Counselling is a talking therapy with the aim of helping you make sense of your situation in a compassionate and non-judgemental way.

Supportive
Counselling provides support outside of family and friends.  Support can be sort for life difficulties, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, changes or decisions around life circumstances, family issues, physical and mental health issues and trauma.
